"WWW.TIKIT.IN" only provides a technology platform that connects intending travelers with bus operators. It doesn't operate any bus or offer the service of transportation to the User.
"WWW.TIKIT.IN" also doesn't act as an agent of any bus operator in the process of providing the above mentioned technology platform services.
The amenities, services, routes, fares, schedule, bus type, seat availability and any other details pertaining to the bus service are provided by the respective bus operator and "TIKIT" has no control over such information provided by the bus operator.
A booking is considered confirmed if the booking confirmation page is shown to the customer, even if SMS/Email fails to deliver for any reason.
The passengers should reach at the mentioned boarding points 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Any complaints/grievances should be reported within 3 days time from date of journey performed.
"Tikit.in" will not charge any additional payment gateway charge or service unless otherwise specified in the booking details page.
Passengers are required to show the SMS of the ticket or mail, if required.
Some bus partners do not accept the electronic ticket formats. In such cases we request you to kindly carry a printout of the ticket.
Bus operators have the right to verify proof of identity at any time during travel. (Any Valid Government ID Proofs)
The vehicle operator is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permits required for the booked travel. If a booking is canceled due to the operator's failure to secure the required licenses or permits, "Tikit.in" shall not be liable in any manner.
All legal disputes are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai (Tamilnadu) only.
By making a booking on www.tikit.in - customer acknowledges that "tikit" will Call/Email/SMS or send alerts to give/take information regarding his/her bookings.
Tikit.in reserves the right to amend, modify or withdraw these above terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
Generation of a valid bus ticket through its partners/operators.
Sending an SMS or Email for ticket confirmation/cancellation.
Providing voice/email/chat support for bus ticket booking/cancellation/refund issues.
Any incorrect data provided by customer while booking the ticket.
Late arrival by customer at the boarding point.
Customer phone not reachable, bus partner did not call at the boarding point and left without picking the customer.
Customer waiting at wrong boarding point.
Bus partner changing the boarding point for any reason.
Bus partner arranging a different vehicle for pickup at boarding point and boarding the actual vehicle at a different place.
Any bus delays, breakdowns, service cancellations, postponements and accidents.
Any misbehavior by the bus partner staff or co-passenger.
Loss/damage of baggage.
Any change of seat numbers done by the bus partner manually.
Bus Partner objecting on carrying pets.
Change of bus type by Bus partner for any reason.
Tickets are non-transferrable.
Bus fares are not controlled by "TIKIT", so any change in fares is not the responsibility of "TIKIT"
The fare might vary based on the seat selected. So the fare shown in the 'Search Page' and 'Seat Selection Page' might vary.
The rules and regulations for carrying luggages vary among bus partners. Most of the bus partners allow 10-15 Kgs of luggage (Bags, Suitcases) per passenger. Bus Partner has sole discretion to allow passengers to carry any other form of luggages like carton boxes etc. "Tikit" is not responsible in case passenger is not allowed to board the bus if the luggage is inappropriate (valuable goods, explosives, carton boxes etc..) to carry in the bus. Please check with bus partner directly in case any extra luggage/carton boxes etc are being carried..
Cancellation of the trip due to any reason.
The bus operator changing a customer's seat for any reason whatsoever;

Refunds processed for cancelled tickets are transferred to the passenger's bank account.
All refunds will take 3 to 7 working days to be credited to your account or card.
In case the refund amount is not credited to your account in 7 working days from the date of refund, we kindly request you to send an email to info@tikit.in along with the ticket details/order details and credit/debit/Wallet statement (in PDF format) from the date of booking to till date. We will assist you in processing the refund and ensuring the amount is credited back to your account.
No refund will be processed for No-Show Passengers (Passenger who do not report at the boarding point on time).
Any transaction charges/Ticket Delivery charges/Convenience fee collected shall not be refunded if the tickets are cancelled by the customer.
If a bus or service trip is canceled by the bus partner, Tikit.in will support the passenger in securing an alternative service, subject to availability. If no alternative service is available, Tikit.in will only be responsible for refunding the ticket price paid by the passenger.
Facilities such as video entertainment, air conditioning, water bottles, or other amenities listed on Tikit.in are intended to assist you in making an informed choice. Any refunds or claims arising from the non-functioning or unavailability of these services must be resolved directly with the bus service provider.
A transaction may fail due to various reasons, potentially resulting in your account or card being debited without a ticket being issued. If the amount is deducted, Tikit.in will initiate a full refund within 24 hours. Your bank/card/wallet service may take 2 to 7 working days to process and credit the refunded amount to your account.

If a customer wishes to cancel their ticket, they must apply for cancellation online only.
Each bus partner sets its own cancellation policy, which may vary. These terms are displayed during booking and printed on the ticket.
The service fee / tax charges will not be refunded.
Cancellation charges are calculated on the original fare, not the discounted amount. The deducted charges are taken from the collected fare, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the customer. [For example: If the original ticket fare is Rs.1000 and your discounted fare is Rs.900, the cancellation charges are calculated on the original fare. i.e., on Rs.1000. So if the cancellation charges are 10%, your refund amount would be Rs.900-100 = Rs.800]
