General Terms and Conditions

"WWW.TIKIT.IN" only provides a technology platform that connectsintending travelers with bus operators. It doesn’t operate any bus or offer theservice of transportation to the User.

The amenities, services, routes, fares, schedule, bus type, seat availabilityand any other details pertaining to the bus service are provided by therespective bus operator and "TIKIT" has no control over such informationprovided by the bus operator.

A booking is considered confirmed if the booking confirmation page is shownto the customer, even if SMS/Email fails to deliver for any reason.

The passengers should reach at the mentioned boarding points 15 minutesprior to the scheduled departure time.

Any complaints/grievances should be reported within 3 days time from date ofjourney performed.

“Tikit.in” will not charge any additional payment gateway charge or serviceunless otherwise specified in the booking details page.

Passengers are required to show the SMS of the ticket or mail, if required.

Some bus partners do not accept the electronic ticket formats. In such caseswe request you to kindly carry a printout of the ticket.

Bus operators have the right to verify proof of identity at any time duringtravel. (Any Valid Government ID Proofs)

The vehicle operator is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary licensesand permits required for the booked travel. If a booking is canceled due to theoperator's failure to secure the required licenses or permits, "Tikit.in" shall notbe liable in any manner

All legal disputes are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the competentcourts in Chennai (Tamilnadu) only

By making a booking on www.tikit.in - customer acknowledges that “tikit” will Call/Email/SMS or send alerts to give/take information regarding his/herbookings.

Tikit.in reserves the right to amend, modify or withdraw these above termsand conditions at any time without prior notice.

TIKIT’s Responsibility:

(1) Generation of a valid bus ticket through its partners/operators.

(2) Sending an SMS or Email for ticket confirmation/cancellation.

(3) Providing voice/email/chat support for bus ticket booking/cancellation/refundissues.

Not under TIKIT’s Responsibility:

(1) Any incorrect data provided by customer while booking the ticket.

(2) Late arrival by customer at the boarding point.

(3) Customer phone not reachable, bus partner did not call at the boarding pointand left without picking the customer.

(4) Customer waiting at wrong boarding point.

(5) Bus partner changing the boarding point for any reason.

(6) Bus partner arranging a different vehicle for pickup at boarding point andboarding the actual vehicle at a different place.

(7) Any bus delays, breakdowns, service cancellations, postponements andaccidents.

(8) Any misbehavior by the bus partner staff or co-passenger.

(9) Loss/damage of baggage.

(10) Any change of seat numbers done by the bus partner manually.

(11) Bus Partner objecting on carrying pets.

(12) Change of bus type by Bus partner for any reason.

(13) Tickets are non-transferrable.

(14) Bus fares are not controlled by “TIKIT”, so any change in fares is not theresponsibility of “TIKIT”

(15) The fare might vary based on the seat selected. So the fare shown in the'Search Page' and 'Seat Selection Page' might vary.

(16) The rules and regulations for carrying luggages vary among bus partners.Most of the bus partners allow 10-15 Kgs of luggage (Bags, Suitcases) perpassenger. Bus Partner has sole discretion to allow passengers to carry any otherform of luggages like carton boxes etc. “Tikit” is not responsible in casepassenger is not allowed to board the bus if the luggage is inappropriate (valuablegoods, explosives, carton boxes etc..) to carry in the bus. Please check with buspartner directly in case any extra luggage/carton boxes etc are being carried..

(17) Cancellation of the trip due to any reason.

(18) The bus operator changing a customer's seat for any reason whatsoever;

(19) Tikit.in reserves the right to amend, modify or withdraw these above termsand conditions at any time without prior notice.

Refund Policy:

1. Refunds processed for cancelled tickets are transferred to the passenger'sbank account.

2. All refunds will take 3 to 7 working days to be credited to your account orcard.

3. In case the refund amount is not credited to your account in 7 working daysfrom the date of refund, we kindly request you to send an email to info@tikit.inalong with the ticket details/order details and credit/debit/Wallet statement (inPDF format) from the date of booking to till date. We will assist you inprocessing the refund and ensuring the amount is credited back to your account.

4. No refund will be processed for No-Show Passengers (Passenger who do notreport at the boarding point on time).

5. Any transaction charges/Ticket Delivery charges/Convenience fee collectedshall not be refunded if the tickets are cancelled by the customer.

6. If a bus or service trip is canceled by the bus partner, Tikit.in will supportthe passenger in securing an alternative service, subject to availability. If noalternative service is available, Tikit.in will only be responsible for refunding theticket price paid by the passenger.

7. Facilities such as video entertainment, air conditioning, water bottles, orother amenities listed on Tikit.in are intended to assist you in making aninformed choice. Any refunds or claims arising from the non-functioning orunavailability of these services must be resolved directly with the bus serviceprovider.

8. A transaction may fail due to various reasons, potentially resulting in youraccount or card being debited without a ticket being issued. If the amount isdeducted, Tikit.in will initiate a full refund within 24 hours. Yourbank/card/wallet service may take 2 to 7 working days to process and credit therefunded amount to your account.

9. Tikit.in reserves the right to amend, modify or withdraw these above termsand conditions at any time without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy:

1. If a customer wishes to cancel their ticket, they must apply for cancellationonline only.

2. Each bus partner sets its own cancellation policy, which may vary. Theseterms are displayed during booking and printed on the ticket.

3. Tikit.in will apply a Rs.10 cancellation fee per seat in addition to the chargesset by the bus partner. (The service fee / tax charges will not be refunded.)

4. Cancellation charges are calculated on the original fare, not the discountedamount. The deducted charges are taken from the collected fare, and theremaining amount will be refunded to the customer. [For example: If the original ticket fare is Rs.1000 and your discounted fare is Rs.900, the cancellationcharges are calculated on the original fare. i.e., on Rs.1000. So if thecancellation charges are 10%, your refund amount would be Rs.900-100 - 10 =Rs.790.]
